LEISURE & TRAVEL

The OELT Annual Meeting has its purpose to create an reflective and pleasant event for all stakeholders such as researchers, private schools, language teachers, alpine adventure suppliers, students

to ponder on various levels about the project Nature in Switzerland.

The Organised Educational Leisure & Travel (OELT) Annual Meeting consists of three main areas

These three main areas can again be composed of several individual areas as required.

The first main area is the concept of "Educational Travel" as the main research topic.

Other individual areas that can be used interdisciplinary for the design of discussions are:

“Education Science” and the psychological, philosophical or theological aspects of “Travel”.

The second main area is the concept of “Language”.

This area is mainly concerned with “learning” and “teaching” of German, Italian and English

in the context of educational travel in Grisons and Ticino.

Other individual areas that can be used interdisciplinary for the design of discussions are: “Pedagogy“ and “Linguistics”.

The third main area is a Natural phenomenon, the High Mountains (Alps).

This area is composed of “Geology”, “Meteorology” as well as “Sports and Movement” research as medical topic.

The high mountains are regarded as a natural phenomenon, which was created by the underlying tectonic plates, and produce interesting conversations about physical or chemical processes in the atmosphere. In addition, human interactions with this natural phenomenon such as sports & movement activities in high mountains with concentration on health benefits will be considered.

The conclusion will be a project review to interpret the scientific inputs such as presentations, lectures, workshops or impulses for the constant refinement of the project “Nature in Switzerland”.
